Deco Happy To See Mourinho At Barca（Goal.com）



Coach Frank Rijkaard has come under increasing pressure at the Camp Nou, after falling further behind close rivals Real Madrid.


The Catalans are currently second in La Liga and failed to win any silverware last season, adding further pressure to Rijkaard's position.


The Dutchman’s tenure at the club would come under even closer scrutiny if Barca fail to win in the El Classico derby on Sunday at the Camp Nou.


The ‘Special One’ is the favourite to succeed Rijkaard and Deco - who himself seems to have fallen out of the Dutchman's good books - is excited by the prospect of a reunion with his former Porto manager.


"He (Mourinho) would come here and would impose his work style,” Deco told SIC.

"What people want is to win trophies.

"Some polls here show that people would be glad to have him.

"I would be happy because he is a great coach, a good friend with whom I had happy moments. If it happens I would be very happy."


The Mourinho and Deco combination brought Champions League success to Porto.
